Alex has over 25 years of experience applying user centered design methods in both consulting and corporate environments.

He has led successful teams of UX/UI designers, Human Factors engineers, and Industrial Designers developing market leading medical devices for home dialysis, connected drug delivery, digital health/mobile medical apps, as well as manual and robotic surgery.

Alex’s career has focused on user interface intensive medical devices for patients and low skill users. Much of his human factors experience has been in areas of particular concern to the FDA: advanced technology, connected drug delivery/combination products and Software as a Medical Device (SaMDs).

Alex holds a Bachelors of Industrial Design from Syracuse University
